I tried to order a longer linking cable, but most of the accessories on CloudNine's website were out-of-stock. For a minute I thought they were finally going out-of-business.
I had shoulder surgery scheduled, so I wrote them to ask about it even though CloudNine's support mailbox is a giant black hole from which nothing can escape. Never received a response, as always.
On a whim, I decided to check again the day before my surgery, and was surprised to see that the cables were now in stock. I ordered one.
IT TOOK CLOUDNINE A WEEK TO SHIP IT. WTF?
I own two of these things. They're great once you get them set up, but CloudNine is terrible. I can't wait until someone else starts making a full-size split keyboard.
Also: if you have a wired keyboard and want to connect it to a USB-C port on your computer, you'll need to run it through a USB-A adapter and back. A straight USB-C-to-USB-C connector will not work. It would be nice if CloudNine actually told you about that somewhere.
