Good. Not great. I would give it a 3.5

It has this unbearable pinging sound. Every keystroke releases this whiney springy pinging. The volume knob has quite the noticable delay. Far left buttons have to go. Dedicated buttons for select all? No, that's not a thing.

This was my first split ergonomic keyboard and at first I was really concerned that it wouldn't fit my (small) hands or that I wouldn't be able to make the adjustment. What I found in the first week of using this keyboard is that it is radically adaptable to how my arms move throughout the day, the customizable keys are intuitive to set up and invaluable for macros, and that the tactile response is enhanced by the sturdy construction of the frame and casing.

This is a fabulous keyboard and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who types a lot.

If you're here, you already know what a pain it is to find worthwhile split keyboards

I love the split with the extended cable and the ability to get the keyboard into any position I need between working and gaming.
I type really hard and the CherryMX brown switches help to keep typing noise to a minimum while Im in meetings. I honestly did not even care about the RGB aspects of the keyboard at first but now I really like that function. Both of my kids have decided they want in on the action and are getting them also.
Now they just need to take the skills and knowledge they've shown here and make an ergo trackball that would work for gamers and I'd be set.

Loving it!

This is the best keyboard I've ever owned. One of my favorite things about it is where the tilt feet are - That's so crucial! The adjustability of the keyboard itself and the customizations that are available in the software are amazing as well.

As far as typing experience, I got the Cherry MX Reds because I'm generally not a fan of clicky sounding keyboards. This has some click to it but it's also more comfortable to type on than the previous ergonomic keyboards I've used (think Logitech and Microsoft).

I highly recommend this keyboard! :)

Best keyboard I ever had

I never had an ergo keyboard before since they either are too expensive or don't fullfill my needs (like not having the navigation block). Before I was using a standard FS mechinal keyboard and a trusty Model M. After hearing about this keyboard on LTT, I very quickly made the decisition to buy it and I did so not reget it.
It's just so comfortable using this keyboard - I can type on it hours without my hands getting tired or cramped. Of course the switches feel as good as cherry switches do, but the keycaps have a very nice feel as well. The keyboard is rather on the light side and for me personally it could be a lot heavier, but it is heavy enough to not move around while using it. The magnet for holding the two halves together does not hold that well (is there even a magnet?), but I personally did not get a split board to stick it together again, so i can live with that. The wrist rests are really nice and breathable.
I find myself using the wheel much more than i thought i would - mainly for scrolling web pages. When gaming, you can just push the right half aside so you have more space for your mouse, which might not be an intentional benefit, but it is. For the RGB fans - the keyboard comes with a lot of presets you don't need the software for. Most of the presets were too "busy" for me, but there should be something for everyone.
Talking about software - I'm using the keyboard on a Mac and there is no software for it (yet). With that being said, I never felt like I needed the software. You can reprogram the macro keys to static keycombos without the software, change the lighting's brightness and effects, and when swapping the Alt the Win keycaps and switching Alt and CMD in Mac's keyboard settings, it is perfectly usable with Macs.
I was also using a keyboard with UK layout before, but adjusting to the US layout and the keyboard in general only took a few hours for me and my typing speed is just as good as before, even a little better.
Another nice surprise is how fast it was shipped. I'm living in Germany and it arrived within a week of me ordering (I know that's mainly due to UPS). If you also live in the EU - import taxes and fees were around 45 EUR.

So overall, not only is this an awesome keyboard I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good mechanical keyboard, but the long-term benefits for your hands are immeasurable. Of course this keyboard isn't the cheapest mechanical keyboard, but its by far one of the cheapest split boards. If your job revolves around typing stuff into a computer, this keyboard is a no-brainer.
